Silent Auction
'Working the Yard' - Minnesota Artist Tom Hessel
- Item Number
- 277
- Estimated Value
- 200 USD
Item Description
We cannot see the man's face - he is only one of many hard-working souls keeping the railroads moving across America. His footprints in the snow adjacent to the rails remind us of the danger he faces as he hops on and off these huge steel creatures. He stays warm in the winter air because, like the trains, he never stops hustling and bustling until finally, at the end of a long day, he may go home to rest.
Train aficionados, history buffs, and admirers of 'the good old days' will appreciate this print based on a photograph. In addition to drawing and photography, Minnesota-based artist Tom Hessel is also a talented painter. Visit his website to view more of his work. http://www.tomhessel.com/
Piece is matted and framed to 21x19 inches; actual print is 17x12.
Piece is a signed and numbered print of a graphite pencil drawing.
