Bellydance Core Fitness is a dynamic way to build core strength while having tons of fun. Unlike most fitness styles today, bellydance honors and celebrates a womans body. It is the most ancient form of womens fitness, designed to strengthen the muscles that are used during childbirth. Come develop core strength while you shimmy! During the first half hour, we will learn basic bellydance technique and primary movements. During theremaining hour, we will use these moves to create a low-impact, interval workout which strengthens allof your core muscles, as well as hips, butt and thighs.This class will use a combination of Middle Eastern and club music to keep us shimmying. After we strengthen our core, we will relax with wine, cheese, and great girl talk. Wear comfortable workout clothes you do not need to show your belly unless you want to! Bring a coin or hip scarf if you have one extras will be provided.
