"The Drowsy Chaperone" (4/12/13-4/27/13)
A show for every true musical theater fan, The Drowsy Chaperone, burst onto the Broadway scene in 2006. A homage to 1920's, jazz-age shows, the show begins when a die-hard musical-theater fan puts his favorite cast album on his record player and takes the audience along for the ride. The musical comes to life around him and tells the tale of a Broadway ingenue on the eve of her wedding. Will she make it to the altar amidst mistaken identity, a roller-skating groom, disguised gangsters, a dipsy chorus girl, and a tipsy, drowsy chaperone? This Tony award-winning rollicking, hilarious show is one you won't want to miss.
or "Deathtrap" (6/21-6/30).
Sidney Bruhl is a successful playwright with a serious case of writer's block. His last hit was years ago and when a former student sends him the manuscript of his first play for critque a dangerous solution presents itself. Will Sidney's next hit leave blood on his hands? Deathtrap is Ira Levin's Tony nominated play which was also the longest-running mystery/thriller on Broadway. It is an edge-of-your-seat cat and mouse game with enough twists and turns to keep you guessing until the very last scene.
