Item Description
Acrylic painting with floating wood frame, 37 1/2" x 50"
Dana Lisa Shavin: I am originally from Atlanta. After graduate school (MS clinical psychology, 1986, Augusta State University) I moved to the north Georgia mountains. For eleven years I worked in a variety of mental health capacities, including as a behavior specialist for the developmentally disabled, and as a therapist, psychological examiner and school psychologist. In 1997, I left my career to pursue art and write full time. Three years later my husband-to-be, Daryl Thetford, left his career as mental health center manager and Director of Rehabilitation Services to pursue a career as a fine art photographer. We travel to art fairs throughout the country and sell through galleries, to corporations and to collectors.
Represented by Plum Nelly
