Item Description
Award-winning artist Jamie Lindholm will paint a portrait of your pet on oil primed linen. Using archival professional grade oils ensures that the piece is of heirloom quality. Jamie's work has been represented in the United States and Sweden and hangs in private collections in both countries. She teaches and paints in her studio in Martinsville, NJ.
Last year's auction winner had this to say: "We are so thrilled with Jamie's portrait of our dog; she really captured his sweet and exuberant personality, and it looks so lifelike. The painting makes me smile every time I see it."
The winning bidder shall provide the artist with one or more photos which she will use to create a 10" x 10" portrait. Frame not included.
Item Special Note
Jamie has exhibited her work across the United States, Canada and Sweden. While she paints landscapes, still life and commissioned portraits from her studio, she has a great love of the "pet" and has executed extraordinary animal portraits. She has won numerous awards, most recently taking First Place in the 2010 Richeson 75: International Small Works for her oil painting, “Cassie.” She has twice been a Finalist in The Artists’ Magazine’s Annual Competition for Animal Art, CSOPA's Faces of Winter 2012, and the Richeson 75: Figure and Portrait. In addition, she was honored by having her painting “Couch Potato” selected for The Artist’s Magazine’s 2006 Limited Edition Calendar, as well as “My Little Viking” featured on the inside cover of the Richeson 75 Figure/Portrait book.
She has been a member of The Portrait Society of America for many years, where she served as the State Ambassador to New Jersey and Delaware until she became the National Coordinator overseeing their International Ambassador Outreach program.
