Item Description
Learn to preserve spring's bounty in this Jam Making Workshop! In this fun four hour class including wine, cheese and jam tasting, you will learn the basics of jam making from start to finish. You will learn to select fruit, prepare your ingredients, source equipment, cook and sterilize and chase inspired effective recipies. You will go home with jam in hand and the knowledge and confidence to start pressing at home. We will cook two kinds of preserves, depending on what is in season.
Hosted at the home of Kristen Goldman and taught by Marci Riseman and her handy assistant, Jennifer Doron.
