Item Description
Carousel 1 part #4552 -The “Fuel Injection Special” was a unique, one-of-a-kind KK500A that established the roadster trend without being copied by Kurtis, its maker. Carefully researched from the real car in the Hall of Fame Museum® and period photos from 1952, the “Fuel Injection Special” exhibits the authenticity you’ve come to expect from Carousel 1. When you open the hood, you’ll reveal an engine compartment featuring a miniature wired and plumbed “Offy” with the black magneto that was used on pre-1955 racers. The Carousel 1 model of Vuky’s victorious 1952 “Fuel Injection Special” will take your collection back to the dawn of the “Roadster Era.” The model is authorized by the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum® and endorsed by Bill Vukovich Jr.
With this model you'll see Carousel 1's dedication to authenticity and detail. The model is BIG, 1:18 SCALE and has:

- Clear-faced gauges
- Die-cast engine
- Full chassis detail
- Imprinted marking
- Positionable front wheel
- Hinged Hood
