This energy saving power strip is also great for use with other electronics such as televisions, DVD players, gaming consoles and associated peripherals. Two of the outlets remain active for those products needing constant power, such as cable boxes or modems. It also has a lighted power switch and is wall mountable. The TrickleStrip has two RC filters to help prevent false switching. The 7 foot long power cord is a heavy-duty power cord. It uses 1 watt of electricity when fully energized and 0 watts when the switched outlets are off.
