Item Description
This kids' "happy hour" in Chinese is titled "Building a Bridge to the Great Wall" and is being offered by Reed mom Rachel Wu. Two 2-hour sessions for 3rd, 4th or 5th graders. Eight individual tickets are available for this two-part program, held on two Friday evenings, May 10 and May 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rachel's home, very close to Reed School. Drop off the kids, and have a window of adult time for you on two Friday evenings! And the kids get:
- A fun way to learn Chinese language
- Introducing different greetings in Chinese
- Introducing Chinese poems
- Introducing interesting places to visit in China
- Introducing chopsticks and traditional Chinese food
Children will learn Chinese characters, greetings and poems in a relaxed, fun home setting. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
