Item Description
Whether you are celebrating an important occasion, or just want to enjoy a great night with some good friends, this item will make your special event unforgettable. Check your calendar and plan to host a perfect evening with the help of visionary Chef Derek Burns.
Chef Burns will work directly with you to create a four-course menu for up to ten guests, featuring ingredient-driven, global cuisine. He'll complete initial preparations in his professional kitchen, and then finish and serve the meal in your home. With two decades of experience cooking in private homes, Chef Burns is expert at helping you realize, and then enjoy, your vision for a delicious and memorable meal.
Derek Burns has been a star in the California culinary skies for years. He's worked at 231 Ellsworth in San Mateo, Stars in Palo Alto, and the award-winning Masa's here in San Francisco. He is currently partner and chef at The Surf Spot in Pacifica, which features exotic delicacies from surfing destinations around the world. (Watch the Cooking Channel later this month to see their underground oven in action on "Man Fire Food”.)
Special bonus: this item includes a case of Napa Valley "Five Cities Cab" - a very limited 2009 release, generously donated by honorees Marc and Marci Dollinger. Perfect to enjoy now, or to lay down for more special occasions in the future.
Incomparable foods sourced from here in the Bay Area. The expertise of a chef with global inspiration and carefully-honed technique. A case of wine. The only ingredient missing is you.
Dinner generously donated by Chef Derek Burns and wine generously donated by the Dollinger Family.
