Allies for Inclusion: The Ability Exhhbit Workshop Edition The Ability Exhibit Workshop Edition is a truncated version of the national traveling Ability Exhibit, which promotes the inclusion of people with disabilities through respect, comfort, and awareness. The kit provides tools to learn and teach inclusive tactics. It contains videos, slideshows, computer quizzes, activities, bookmarks with Ally Tips, post-it notes, pens, “This is what an Ally looks like” buttons, a signed copy of the book, The Way I See It: Bumping into Life with Low Vision by Karen Myers, and an “I Pledge to be an Ally” poster with easel for participant signatures. The kit, which easily fits on a bookshelf, is ideal for student organizations and campus departments who wish to provide professional development opportunities in disability education to members and staff.
