Item Description
Just in time for Easter or spring birthdays - gift certificate for 12 standard cupcakes from Short Street Cakes!
In 2006, Georgia native Jodi Rhoden began baking cakes for friends from her home in Asheville, North Carolina using traditional Southern cake recipes and local ingredients, and Short Street Cakes was born. Three years later, her business grew to occupy the sweet little Cake Shop at 225 Haywood Road. Jodi has since become the author of the award-winning blog, My Life in Cake, and the book, Cake Ladies: Celebrating a Southern Tradition, a collection of life stories and recipes from Southern cake ladies. Jodi’s bustling local business has earned the reputation of being the best bakery in the region to procure fresh, natural wedding cakes, cupcakes, and birthday cakes, made from scratch and with love. The Cake Shop serves many flavors of cupcakes and cakes by the slice every day, is located at 225 Haywood Road in West Asheville, and is open from 8am to 6pm Monday through Saturday, and from 10am-2pm on Sundays. We hope to see you soon!
