Item Description
Your child will love a week at the Philharmonic's Strings Camp. This year's Strings Camp will be June 17 - 21, 2013, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. each day with a final concert on June 21, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. Held at Ceraland Park just outside Columbus, Indiana, each day includes individual and group instruction, arts and crafts activities, the option to go swimming (weather permitting) and miniature golf.
This is a great way to introduce your child to the violin, viola or cello in a fun environment and determine whether or not it's the right fit.
Appropriate for beginner through advanced strings players, your child will be grouped with others of similar ability. You'll be thrilled to see your child's progress when you attend the final concert.
Item Special Note
Strings Camp will be held June 17 - 21, 2013, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. with a final concert on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. Instruments are not included but can be rented through Tom Pickett's Music Center. Lunch is not provided but drinks and snacks are provided.
