Item Description
Gary Sinise is a leading actor and film director. He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1994 for his role as Lt. Dan Taylor in Forrest Gump. He won a Golden Globe Award for his role in Truman, as Harry S. Truman. He also starred in Apollo 13 and currently in the hit TV series CSI: NY. In 1992, Sinise directed, and played the role of George Milton in the successful film adaptation of Of Mice and Men.
The Lt. Dan Band is a cover band founded by Kimo Williams and Gary Sinise. The band is named after Sinise's character from Forrest Gump. Sinise is a passionate supporter of troops and is now involved in building a memorial to America's three million living disabled military veterans, at whose opening the band is expected to play.
