Item Description

The great people of the Sharon Friends Of Conservation have offered to take a group of people on a guided approximately 3 hour hike along the Massapoag Trail, or the King Philips Trail.

Timing: the date and time of day are pretty much up to the bidder's choosing though it needs to be arranged in advance to confirm the availability of the guide (Kurt, the SFOC president). Ideally the date would be between Saturday April 27 and Sunday May 19.

Trails: At the winner's bidders choice.  Both trails are about 3 miles long over easy to moderate terrain and have great scenery and many features of natural and historical interest.

This hike is open to as many as 15 people but can be much smaller.  Great for families and friends, a cub scout or brownie group or just anyone interesting in a great walk outdoors while learning more about our town.

Item Special Note

Please check out the SFOC website and see all the great work they do.  Their mission statement:

“To promote, encourage and foster the preservation, care and maintenance of all public lands, waters and wildlife in the Town of Sharon, Massachusetts in order to further the recreation and enjoyment of the town’s residents.”

We would like to thank our sponsors....
