Item Description
The Crusher 2010 Merlot - 1 bottle
This dark inky wine unfolds with bold aromas of white pepper, ripe raspberry and black currants elegantly followed by notes of black truffle and mesquite. Smooth and inviting right from the start, a flavorful symphony of rich, jammy fruit flavors come forth from your first sip. Flavors of black cherry and candied orange peel evolving into notes of walnut, tobacco leaf and cinnamon baked apple nuances. Blended with a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon to add backbone and structure, this is a crowd pleasing distinctive Merlot.
The Crusher 2011 Chardonnay - 3 bottles
Rich blonde in color, this full-bodied Chardonnay displays vibrant vanilla, key lime, and citrus aromas. Smooth and fresh, with a touch of zest, there are nuances of pear and almond flavors intertwined with the classic California Chardonnay profile, and an edge of tangerine that gives this wine a unique slant. There is also a nice underpinning of limestone and minerality that provides structure and a clean, toasty finish from the gentle six months that this wine was aged in French oak. Equally important is the sur lie aging that gives this Chardonnay its cream mouthfeel without sacrificing freshness or its focused flavor.
Available for pick up in Sonoma, CA only.
