Item Description

$150 in gift cards that are good to some of DC's most quintessential restaurants: Georgia Brown's, J. Paul's, Neyla, Old Glory BBQ, or Paolo's Ristorante

GEORGIA BROWN'S
Come and experience our lively interpretation of South Carolina Low-Country cuisine. Enjoy good southern food, servers who bubble over with hospitality, and a dining room that is truly distinctive. With its honey-colored walls, golden woods and bronze sculptures that crawl across the ceiling, designer Adam Tihany has created an atmosphere to awaken your senses. What better place to enjoy low country cuisine than in this contemporary environment celebrating the south. Offering the flavor of the South - the Soul of Washington; where we will be sure to leave a light burning in the window for you, our guests.

J. PAUL'S
J. Pauls is Washingtons quintessential turn of the century American Dining Saloon. The J. Pauls bar in Georgetown is itself a 100 year old mahogany shotgun bar, built by the Brunswick Balke Coolander Company and was previously housed in a grand saloon in the Chicago stockyards. Many will swear over their scotch that Al Capone himself bellied up to that very bar. Antique brass elevator doors from New Yorks Waldorf Astoria frame the back dining room. A few short blocks from the Potomac River, in the heart of fashionable Georgetown, the original J. Pauls has become an institution. Every day, politicians, journalists, artists, business people and Washington personalities share tables with students, tourists and ex-Pats in the nations capital. Don't miss out on a visit to this DC institution!

NEYLA
Meet Neyla, the Mediterranean spirit of prosperity, abundance, and success. The restaurant that celebrates her is a treat for the senses and social graces. Both elegant and comfortable, Neyla is inspired by Romanesque Mediterranean villas, and influenced by the myriad peoples who settled in that wondrous part of the world. Neyla is a delightful mix of exotic cultures, inspired in the homes, hearths and taverns of the rugged land known first as Phoenicia, then the Ottoman Empire, and later the Republic of Lebanon. From nomadic Arab tribes, Ottoman Turks, Egyptians, Greek and French rulers, Neyla's food melds the best of all the Mediterranean cultures. Vegetables, salads, grilled meats and fish are set off by light, and subtly spiced sauces. Coriander, cinnamon, basil, thyme, Turkish pastries, coffee with cardamom and of course the renowned Lebanese mezzas tell the tongue a story of four thousand years of culinary history.

OLD GLORY BBQ
Of all of our "native" food, barbecue is uniquely, authentically and gloriously All-American. Old Glory, located on historic M Street in Georgetown, captures the food, flavor and feel of the great barbecue restaurants of the United States, and offers representations of each styles of barbecue served in different parts of the country. "It looks like a rib joint, sounds like a rib joint and smells like one...most important, of course, the kitchen smokes fine barbecue," says the Washington Post. The huge barbecue pit, the open kitchen, and the 1901 Silver Dollar Four Winds hand-crafted bar, create lively, exciting atmosphere that is downright down-home.

PAOLO'S RISTORANTE
The very first Paolo's found its home in historic Georgetown in the 1980's, and has been a Georgetown staple ever since. The bustling ristorante has become a corner fixture in this centuries old melting pot amongst politicians, travelers, shoppers and students. Dine outside and watch the world go by, or sit inside and watch your pizza being prepared in our fabulous brick oven, and most of all - enjoy! Located in the heart of Georgetown, Paolo's serves fine Cal-Italian cuisine full of exciting pizzas and exquisite pastas.
