Enjoy these 5 skeins of luxurious deep purple merino wool called Impatient.
Mountain Meadows Sport Weight yarn is a 2 ply yarn with 200 yards. It is a 2 oz skein. These are semi solid, heavy metal free and kettle dyed for gorgeous colors. This is US yarn from US farms and processed by US mills! And yes it's awesome. This yarn wears like no other we carry, it has a firm feel but feels great on the skin. It wears excellent and won't pill on you even after gentle washes in the washing machine. It's not technically superwash but it sure acts like it, the quality of the wool and processing creates a superwash like characteristic we haven't seen before. Considering the low amount of processing that is done to this wool this is amazing. This is a favorite here at the shop and we think once you try it it will be your favorite too.

Mountain Meadow Wool Mill is located at the foot of the Big Horn Mountains in Buffalo, Wyoming. Our area is rich in western history, from Indian wars and outlaws to cattlemen and sheepherders. Our fiber factory begins in Wyoming's rugged mountain climate. Because it is so fine, Mountain Meadow Wool is silky soft to the touch, insulates much better, breathes far more effectively, and feels delightful next to your skin.

Each year, we procure the best fiber from the best growers in the West. We then process it at our own fiber mill where it is transformed into extraordinary roving and yarns.
Fibers for our roving and yarn are washed and spun with citrus/vegetable-based soaps and oils rather than petroleum-based products. No chemicals are used to bleach, shrink proof or moth proof the yarn. This gentle process preserves the natural qualities of the wool. Our yarn is ultra soft and has a wonderful feel. We are proud to bring you this very fine product grown on the high plains of Wyoming.
