Preservation Hall of Jazz

This iconic American institution was established in 1961 with the intention of preserving this uniquely American art form and providing some of its earliest practitioners the opportunity to earn a living performing the music they had pioneered and kept alive for so many years. Preservation Hall’s evening performances are recognized as some of the world’s last “pure musical experiences,” presenting authentic, traditional New Orleans jazz, played by the city’s finest. Experience the living legends that won Preservation Hall the Zagat award for 'Best Appeal' for 2009 New Orleans Nightlife. There is no bar service, air-conditioning, or other modern updates, Preservation Hall is a truly unique experience for kids and adults alike. Commander’s Palace Restaurant

Enjoy a dinner for two featuring the Chef’s Playground, a 6-course specialty menu created by Executive Chef Tory McPhail, complemented by an assortment of wines, and includes tax and gratuity. Wine pairings for the evening will be chosen by one of Commander’s wine experts. Named “Most Popular” and “Top Decor” in New Orleans by ZAGAT. Treat yourself to this wonderful experience at Commander’s Palace and partake in the Chef’s Playground menu paired with an exquisite assortment of wines to complement your meal.

This package includes round-trip coach class service for two from any American Airlines destination in the 48 contiguous United States to New Orleans, LA, subject to availability. A minimum of three nights or a Saturday night stay is required. AAdvantage miles may be earned in accordance with the terms and conditions of the AAdvantage frequent flyer program. Miles cannot be utilized to upgrade these coach class certificates to a higher level of service. The following blackout dates apply:

Packages cannot be resold. Suggested retail value is calculated using tariff air rates and rack room rates. Ground transportation is not included.
