Item Description
Compare and contrast three selections of JustNat Cabernet Sauvignon. This package includes one bottle each of the 2003, 2004 and 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon.
The Schreyer Cabernet Sauvignon Vineyard was carefully created on approximately 8 acres to celebrate Gary's two daughters -Justine and Natalie- hence: JustNat. The vineyard is very well located on a moderately steep hillside at the southern end of the Dry Creek Valley near the town of Healdsburg. Three different, yet individually outstanding, French clone Cabernet Sauvignon vines are grown on a vertical trellis system and nurtured by Patin Vineyard Management in accordance with the best viticulture practices and standards. A carefully selected harvest chosen from the total production of each of the three clones of vines is selected and hand picked to create a wine with a memorable melange of substance, style and flavor.
2003 Tasting notes:
Deep, vibrant ruby red color.
Toasty aromas of cherries, blackberries and chocolate
Cassis, blackberries and licorice with smooth tannins in the palate
Lingering, wonderful finish with cassis and tannins.
2004 Tasting notes:
Deep, vibrant ruby red color.
Toasty aromas of black currants and blackberries.
Cassis with licorice and vanilla across the palate.
Lingering finish with cassis and smooth tannins.
2005 Tasting notes:
Very dark ruby red color.
Toasty aromas of black currants with a hint of leather.
'Juicy' cassis and spices across the palate.
Lingering finish with cassis and firm tannins.

If the winner is a member of the Los Encinos School community, no shipping charge will be assessed, and the winner may pick the item up at Los Encinos School once a distribution day is announced (approx 5 days after the auction closes and payments are processed).
For other winning bidders, you will be able to pick the wine up at Los Encinos School by appointment once the auction has closed and payment has been processed. All bidders / winners must be 21 or over. ID will be checked upon pick up.
