Item Description
Handcrafted by a skilled artisan, this one-of-a-kind brooch is a beautiful addition to any jewelry collection. Utilizing hand tools, this piece is created by first doming a 2-inch diameter copper disc. Then the artist applies a layer of black enamel and then a layer of white enamel. After firing the piece in the kiln, a design pattern of intricate swirls is cut into the piece through the white enamel, exposing the underlying black color. When the design is complete, each piece is lightly abraded to create a matte finish. This art piece can be worn as a pin using the pin back, or simply attach a chain to the bail on back and you have a beautiful pendant.
