Item Description
The Recycling Department helps to protect the UNM and New Mexico environment by diverting recyclable materials from landfill and ensuring diverted materials are beneficially reused. We collect potentially recyclable materials such as paper, aluminum cans/plastic bottles/glass bottles/tin cans, cardboard, CDs/DVDs, scrap metal, wooden pallets, etc. from UNM campus facilities and store or process the materials for off-site reclamation.
UNM Recycling is committed to helping keep New Mexico the beautiful place it is naturally. The act of recycling is a positive way to help keep our environment healthy. We encourage students, faculty and staff to participate in recycling at UNM and to tell others about it as well.
We are constantly looking for new materials to recycle and new ways to recycle what we already collect from the campus. If you have ideas and want to help, please contact Linda McCormick, Resource Conservation Manager, at 269-6131 or recycle@unm.edu.
Item Special Note
After the auction closes, items will be shipped to the winning bidder and actual shipping charges (including insurance) will be added to the total bid, unless bidder chooses pickup options listed in your winning bid confirmation at the close of the auction.
