Item Description
Southscape (CD) As the keyboardist for the Rolling Stones, Chuck Leavell rock n rolls with the best of them. However, on his latest solo CD, he chooses to find a more jazzy and homey side to his playing. He has tapped two of his favorite saxophinists, Tim Ries who plays with Chuck in the Rolling Stones band, and one of Chuck's former band mates, Randall Bramblett of Sea Level, to help him formulate an album of new southern anthems. Rounding out the Band mates are Michael Rhodes on Bass and Chad Cromwell on drums with highlights by Larry Carlton on guitar. This CD will be a classic for Years to come.
What's in that Bag? (CD) Originally created as a Christmas greeting for friends and family, this collaboration of Christmas music includes classic melodies such as "Greensleeves,"We Three Kings," and "Oh Holy Night", as well as original material and some R&B standards.
The Tree Farmer (Harcover Book) By Chuck Leavell and Nicholas Cravotta. Illustrations by Rebecca Bleau
A grandfather who owns a tree farm takes his grandson on a magical journey through the forest, where trees become musical instruments, books, a baby's crib and more. The story explains the vital role that trees play in our lives, providing us with the wood for our homes, furniture and other products--and mankind's responsibility to protect and care for them. Co-authored by Chuck Leavell, musician, tree farmer, conservationist and longtime keyboardist for the Rolling Stones.
