End gun violence and the drug trade that go hand in hand thanks to a failed approach to the war on drugs. Global Exchange’s Mexico and Human Rights Program is working with civil society on both sides of the U.S./Mexico border to fundamentally shift society and government’s approach to the drug trade.
You support helps:
- call for a ban on assault weapons and high capacity ammunition cartridges in the U.S. to stop the flow of arms across the border.
- end militarization of the conflict in Mexico, and looking for health and wellness-based solutions to drug abuse and addiction.
