Item Description
Lagomarsino is located on Skyline Boulevard in Woodside between the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space Districts El Corte de Madera and Purisima Creek Open Space Preserves. The 31-acre property, normally closed to the public, is dense redwood forest land that includes over 60 old-growth trees. Sempervirens will treat you to an exclusive tour of this beautiful preserve, which protects some of the largest redwoods remaining in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
- 2-hours easy hike for 6-8 people, lead by Will Russell
Will Russell is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies at San Jose State University where he teaches Sustainable Forest Management and Natural Resource Analysis. His research is focused on disturbance, conservation, and restoration of forest ecosystems, with an emphasis on coast redwood forests.
