This area hosts some of the most important nesting habitat for Wisconsin's threatened and endangered species including the Federally Endangered Kirtland's Warbler, the spectacular Greater Prairie Chicken, Upland Sandpiper, Red-headed Woodpecker as well as many more song birds, raptors, and wading birds. This trip will be primarily by car caravan with multiple stops to get out and watch birds.
