Item Description

A visit to The Oregon Zoo is a quintessential Portland experience. You and a friend won't want to miss out on the amazing animals and native and exotic plants found on 64 forested acres at The Oregon Zoo!

The Oregon Zoo is home to animals from all corners of the world, including Asian elephants, Peruvian penguins and Arctic polar bears. From the mist-filled Africa rainforest to the majestic Great Northwest exhibits, the zoo encourages visitors to understand and experience the natural world. Committed to conservation of endangered species and their habitats--both locally and around the globe--the zoo is a center for wildlife preservation and field research.

Exhibits range from ecosystems of the Pacific Northwest to the Serengeti plains, where over 2,200 animals live in natural habitats offering wide open and natural spaces, hiding areas and vistas of the surrounding land.

 

Item Special Note

•Tickets provide admission for two during normal zoo hours and allow you to bypass lines at gate.
•The zoo is open every day except December 25.
•Tickets expire April 3, 2014.

The Zoo is located at 4001 SW Canyon Road in Portland, Oregon. Zoo hours change seasonally as follows:

•Spring (March 1 to May 24, 2013)
9 a.m. to 4 p.m., grounds open until 5 p.m.
 
•Summer (May 25 to Sept. 2, 2013)
9 a.m. to 6 p.m., grounds open until 7 p.m.
 
•Fall (Sept. 3 to Dec. 31, 2013)
9 a.m. to 4 p.m., grounds open until 5 p.m.

•Winter (Jan. 1 to Feb. 28, 2014)
10 a.m. to 4 p.m., grounds open until 5 pm.
