Item Description
This type 3 vintage Levi's trucker jacket dates to the 1967-1971 era.
Purchased by a Vietnam Veteran in a Navy Exchange (PX) in Yokosuka Japan in 1973, this jacket was worn by the veteran as he embarked on a motorcycle adventure all over Japan. (size 40)
This jacket truly is a piece of history. The jacket is in good condition with some wear at the left elbow.
Jacket Details:
- 2 pockets only with pointed flaps
- Stitching around the flap is gold
- reinforced stitching appears dark gray or black
- Big E logo on the left pocket flap
- Single row stitching adjacent to the bottom button hole
- Center of button is flat
- Button stamp 347
- Inside neck label stamped in black: S70371 on the horses
- Bottom label stamped 70505-0271
