Item Description
Learn how to roast coffee at home with veteran home roaster and Madison Waldorf parent, Dave Vanness. The day will begin with a "cupping" session -- a tasting exercise in which you will learn to identify characteristics of coffees from different regions and different roast profiles. You'll learn the basics of blending coffees for espresso while observing the fundamentals of the roasting process using a half-pound GeneCafe indoor roaster. You'll then move outdoors to roast your own batch of coffee from the renowned Finca Miranda farm (see pictures) in the Huila region of Colombia on Dave's 2 pound gas drum roaster. We'll finish the day with a (drinkable!) lesson on latte art.

Item Special Note
