Item Description

Known as the wine maker’s grape for its bountiful color, flavor and tannin, this Guenoc California Petite Sirah is crafted with precision.  Made correctly, “Pets” becomes the benchmark for big, hedonistic wines; blueberry flavors wrapped in silky tannins… not your father’s Petite Sirah!

Perhaps no other grape variety, besides the teinturies, is as much of a “giver”.  Petite Sirah wants to extract all the color and tannin it has in the skins to you.  The winemakers’ task is to not be a glutton and just take as much as you need.  For the Guenoc California Petite Sirah as in many things, restraint is the key.
