Item Description
Don your best wizard wear or Hogwarts uniform and arrive at the spectacular Sonoma Property of landscape designer Penney Magrane where youll find the famed Platform 9 3/4 to enter the magical Wizarding World of Sonoma Hogwarts. You will be met by your Headmaster, Professor Dumbledore, and the faculty of Hogwarts School. Your term will begin with House assignment into one of the two Hogwarts Sonoma Houses, either Wizards or Dragons, by the sorting hat. Don't be late for school orientation, you could lose house points. After orientation and the welcoming ceremony classes will begin. You will learn wand making, spells and incantations, potions, herbology, the care of magical creatures, and defense against the dark arts. Your term won't be all work though. You'll have the opportunity to visit Diagon Alley and shop at Honeydukes Sweet Shop, Alivans for Wizarding supplies and Quidditch equipment, Ollivanders Wand Shop, and of course, Gringotts Bank to withdraw Galleons from the Head Goblin. Those with permission may visit Hogsmeade Village and the Leaky Caldron for a bit of refreshment before Quidditch practice. Beware of the Shrieking Shack, the most haunted house in all of Sonoma. After classes, the whole school will gather at the Quiddiitch Pitch for an exciting Quidditch match between the Wizards and Dragons. Finally, we will celebrate the end of term with a school feast and awarding of the House Cup. You will receive further instructions and directions by Owl Post as your term draws closer including the Rules of Quidditch. As a special note: Muggle Quidditch will be played this term as some team members may be underage wizards and as such are not yet allowed to fly. Broom sticks, however, must still be used and will be provided by the school. While costumes are not required, they are strongly encouraged! Snacks and refreshments will be served throughout the afternoon with a family style, light dinner served at the awards ceremony. An unparalleled adventure for 15 families of Potter fans! Oct 19th, 2013, 1 pm - Dusk.
