Be transported to the old west with John William’s Overture to The Cowboys, which originally featured John Wayne in the leading role.  Delight in the sounds of Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue which never fails to evoke a sultry jazz club of the 1920’s, and harken back to the 1940’s wartime in New York with Bernstein’s Academy Award-winning On the Town.
