Margo Magid believes that art is a story well-told. She is best known for expressionistic warscapes: a visual diary of wartime events and landscapes she has seen, remembers or has envisioned. Over the past year, she has embarked on a journey through the Heart Sutra: paintings of fire and transformation, such that with out next breath, the best of our human condition prevails over the worst.
She studied painting with Koho Yamamoto, C. C. Wang, Amalie Rothschild, Grace Hartigan, Sam Francis and Hilton Brown.
She has exhibited in New York, Toronto, Berlin, London, Madrid, Beijing, Shanghai and Florence.
