"A Single Woman" is the story of unsung heroine and first United States Congresswoman Jeannette Rankin, who changed the American Political Landscape forever.  A well-educated and dedicated pacifist, Jeannette Rankin spoke out against war profiteering and the resulting devastation caused by war.  She was the only Congressional Representative to vote against the US entry in both World War I and World War II.
