SILENT-Kids/Family
Google Tour and Museum Visit for Ten Kids and Parents
- Item Number
- 501
Item Description
Ten lucky kids and up to ten parents (for total of 20 people) will visit two Silicon Valley icons: the Computer History Museum and, just a few streets away, the Google campus. Start with a tour of the Computer History Museum, where you'll discover the roots of today's Internet and mobile devices, see some of the very first computers, and play a game of Pong or Spacewar. The museum even features a Google exhibit where visitors can sit inside a real Google Street View camera car and pedal a camera trike to activate your own big-screen tour. After the museum visit, head to Google's main campus for an exclusive tour from a Google employee (and district parent!) followed by lunch on campus prepared by some of the best chefs. Top if all off with a visit to the Google store to stock up on some goodies (participants to purchase if desired). Tour will occur on a mutually agreeable weekday in July/August 2013.
Item Special Note
This item will be available for bidding at the Portola Farms auction event on May 18.
