Item Description
Spend a week on the Jersey Shore in the beautiful town of Stone Harbor on 7 Mile Island in a quaint 1950s one bedroom second floor apartment. Located three blocks from some of the most pristine beaches in the state, the apartment boasts a large eat-in kitchen, bedroom with double bed, spacious living room and half bath with outdoor shower. Breezes abound on the second floor with a view of the bay so no need for air conditioning. Relax, unwind and rejuvenate.
Bring your bicycles, tennis racquets and running shoes to take advantage of the many outdoor activities Stone Harbor has to offer. Stone Harbor Bird Sanctuary, the Wetlands Institute and Stone Harbor Museum offer educational opportunities, Kayak outings, and back bay nature tour boat ride. Catch your own flounder, sea bass or king fish while fishing either in the bay from public docks or in the ocean standing right on the beach. Deep Sea fishing tours are also available. Ten minute walk to great shopping and wonderful restaurants. The borough of Avalon shares 7 Mile Island with Stone Harbor providing more choices for shopping and restaurants. Antique shops are abundant. Just a 15 minute drive to the historic town of Cape May with many sights to see, tours, horse drawn carriage rides, and seafood fresh off the docks!
The south Jersey shore is the place to be this summer and September is beautiful with warm ocean temps. Come and enjoy a romantic week or a fun get-a-way!
Please, no pets.
