Item Description
“Good bread is the most fundamentally satisfying of all foods; and good bread with fresh butter, the greatest of feasts.”
- James Beard
It's an old tradition with roots in Russia, Judaism, Christianity, and many Eastern European cultures to bring a loaf of bread to a housewarming. Though it was popularized in the mainstream by Frank Capra's "It's a Wonderful Life", when George and Mary Bailey welcome the Martinis into their new home.
Mary hands a loaf to the Martini's and expresses the sentiment "Bread... that this house may never know hunger."
Now with Semifreddi's generous donation, your house may never know hunger either. You'll receive one loaf per week.
Item Special Note
*Expires one year from first redemption.
*Valid at our two East Bay Retail Bakeshops.
*Missed weeks (loaves) can not be made up on subsequent weeks.
