Item Description
This beautiful piece measures 12.5" H x 14" W and is signed.
An Olla is a water pot carried by women on their heads for centuries. David has created this piece using a traditional design of a water bird (or parrot) with geometrical patterning. Water, Rain and Snow, the Lightning Shield, Mother Earth and stair step designs with a directional motion to the right cover the exterior surface. The brown color at the base represents Mother Earth and the brown band on the interior of the lip is there to ground the pot.
Catch David and the rest of the DJ's on KUNM's Singing Wire on Sundays from 12-4.
Item Special Note
After the auction closes, items will be shipped to the winning bidder and actual shipping charges (including insurance) will be added to the total bid, unless bidder chooses pickup options listed in your winning bid confirmation at the close of the auction.
