Glucksman Ireland House at NYU is pleased to offer a dual membership for one calendar year. It is the centre for Irish and Irish-American Studies at New York University.
Glucksman Ireland House provides access to Irish and Irish-American culture and fosters excellence in the study of Ireland, Irish America, and the global Irish Diaspora.
Bottle of Wine at V-Bar Sullivan St.
This intimate but airy gem is a café by day and a candlelit beer and wine bar at night. The bar has a house board and no shortage of partners, even if it’s the bartender on a slow night. Chalkboards display a rotating selection of over 25 vinos by the glass and sippers at the rustic, flower-decorated bar can be overheard expounding Sideways-style on what hard-nosed writer Nick Tosches calls “rancid grape juice.” Oenophobes can choose from among 40 reasonably priced beers, including an excellent selection of Belgians.
