Here is an amazing YELP review:

FIVE STARS OUT OF FIVE
 3/30/2013

I wish I could buy everything in life from the guys who work at East Bay Nursery.  I would say this place has the best customer I've ever experienced.

I have been to A LOT of nurseries.  Yes, their prices are higher than Lowe's or Home Depot.  Usually, I'm all about shopping around and going with the cheapest option.  However, when it comes to something complex like gardening, I want someone to help me get the expertise I need to be successful.  East Bay Nursery gives you that.  The employees are Lowe's couldn't answer even my basic questions.

Every time I've gone, many people have come up to me to ask if I need help finding something.  The last two times, the main guy in charge spent a significant amount of time with me (like over 20 minutes) to help me pick things out for my tiny garden.  When I left, someone ran to my car to collect my cart so I didn't have to walk it back and gave me some extensive last-minute watering tips (example: "you don't have to use the expensive soil the tag recommends, use normal soil and adjust for the chemical blah blah blah by watering it less.")  It is like their employees are bursting with knowledge and will fall all over themselves to impart it to you.  To me, it was worth the extra couple of bucks to get the tools I need to keep my investment alive.
