Professor Ruth Weisberg is a 2011 FJC Jewish Cultural Achievement Award recipient. She teaches drawing and printmaking at the USC Roski School of Fine Arts, and is the former Dean. Weisberg works primarily in painting, drawing and printmaking. Her work is in the collections of major museums, including the Getty Center; Norton Simon Museum; Los Angeles County Museum of Art; San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; Smithsonian Institution; Metropolitan Museum of Art; Whitney Museum of American Art; Jewish Museum, New York; Art Institute of Chicago; Harvard University; Biblioteca Nazionale d'Italia (Rome); and Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris. Her work is currently on view at the Whitney Museum of American Art.
