Enjoy a one week stay for two people in Nayarit, Mexico!

Casa Pelicanos is your dream beach vacation home, just steps from one of the great hidden beaches of the Mexican Riviera, Playa Venados. Our lovely home is just 45 minutes from the Puerto Vallarta airport and minutes from the town of Lo de Marcos. Step out onto the veranda and see the breathtaking panorama of ocean in front of you and the lush semi-tropical forest to the side. The air is soft, the scenery breathtaking and the ever-present sound of the ocean is ultimately relaxing.

You can whale watch from the veranda, relax while you see the pelicans soar over the house or take a dip in the pristine warm water. There is a small outdoor restaurant at the edge of the beach where you can enjoy a meal or a cold beverage. At night, take in the stars and the fireflies while you stroll on the beautiful beach. Casa Pelicanos is a refuge from our all too busy lives and your stay here will be truly relaxing and refreshing.

Accommodations at Casa Pelicanos are aesthetically beautiful and comfortable with authentic art and furnishings. There are two levels, each of which is self-contained with full kitchens and separate entrances. The upstairs consists of three bedrooms (2 queens/1 king) and three bathrooms while the downstairs has two bedrooms (2 queens) and two bathrooms. Rent them separately or together. Every room in the house has a ceiling fan to provide a comfortable environment.

Lo de Marcos is a small charming town, which is not yet a tourist destination. There are a couple of restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacy and of course a fabulous beach with an adjoining estuary with great bird watching. Check out the town square which is the social hub: there are often fun local events. 

For fine dining and shopping you can go down to San Francisco, which is 20 minutes south of Lo de Marcos or drive another 5 minutes further to Sayulita. 15 minutes to the north is La Penita, with banks, ATM’s and a fun Thursday market selling arts & crafts along with deliciously fresh fruits and vegetables.

Airport pick up and return trip (with a stop for groceries on the way in) can be arranged and there are taxis available in Lo de Marcos and upon request. If you really want to explore we recommend a rental car which is available at the airport.

Our house Manager, Arcelia, is bi-lingual and available to assist you in making your stay easy and enjoyable.
