Two of you will ride round trip in coach seats onboard Amtak's Southwest Chief from Albuquerque to Los Angeles Union Station. Amtrak's Southwest Chief runs daily between Chicago and Los Angeles, through the vast expanse of the fabled American West.
You'll be mesmerized by this region's beauty and allure. We'll take you past wheat fields and ranches, missions and pueblos, mountains and deserts. Carving through curving canyon passages only a few feet wider than the train itself, you'll see spectacular landscapes and pristine vistas not visible from interstate highways.
Onboard the Southwest Chief, enjoy Superliner Sleeping (not included) and Dining Car accommodations and spectacular views from our renowned Sightseer Lounge Car.
Enjoy a two (2) night stay in an Urban Oasis Room at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza where glamour isn’t confined to Hollywood. Discover why Hyatt Regency Century Plaza has been the luxury hotel of choice for luminaries and dignitaries world-wide for over 45 years. Perfectly situated on the fashionable West Side, adjacent to Beverly Hills, this elegant hotel offers easy access to all the sights of this vibrant city.

Answers to some frequently asked questions about travel on Amtrak:
- Everyone who travels on the train pays the coach rail fare. If one elects to ride in a sleeper compartment, the upgrade charge is the cost of the compartment. In this case, your coach rail fare is covered by the travel certificate. Therefore, the cost of the Roomette compartment is the upgrade cost to ride in a sleeper room.
- The winner can pay for the private compartment if he/she wishes to ride in a sleeper room. The cost is not a flat upgrade charge. The actual price is known at the time of reservations. For round-trip, the price for a Roomette can be one rate going and a different rate on the return. Visit the link for information on the Roomette accommodation. http://www.amtrak.com/servlet/ContentServer?c=AM_Accommodation_C&pagename=am%2FLayout&cid=1241210576173
- The winner may use Albuquerque as the destination.
