It's 1917 in the middle of Mardi Gras. Just two blocks from the French Quarter is Storyville, with its saloons, gambling joints and brothels. The unique sound of American jazz is being created and this is the place to hear it. Storyville is the tale of what happened in that red light district, allowing jazz to become one of America’s gifts to the world. Written by award-winning playwright Ed Bullins with music and lyrics by Mildred Kayden.
