Item Description
"An Elephant Counting"
John Lennon was many things to many people: singer, songwriter, poet, political activist, and, not the least, the most outspoken member of what is arguably, the greatest rock-and-roll band of all time. But to Sean Lennon, he was Daddy, a role he took on with as much humor, intensity, and enthusiasm as any he had tackled.
Drawing pictures and making up captions was one of the ways John and Sean played together. It was how John taught Sean about the simple joys of creativity and it was one of the many ways John was able to express his real love for- and his great joy in- his son.
This framed limited edition serigraph named An Elephant Counting was generously donated by Yoko Ono and Legacy Productions.
It is important to Yoko in the memory of John Lennon that children are given the chance to pursue their dreams through education and opportunities. Her donations in the past year alone to support hunger and education for children throughout the world have exceeded many millions. Please keep the dreams of John Lennon alive by giving generously to support the children of the world.
