Nicknamed “the Intimidator” for his aggressive driving skills, Dale Earnhardt Sr. went down as one of the greatest NASCAR drivers of all-time. He won a career total 76 Winston Cup (now Sprint Cup) races and 7 Winston Cup Championships, which ties him for the most all-time with Richard Petty. He was killed in an unfortunate crash on the final lap of the Daytona 500 in 2001. He was one of five drivers to be inducted into the inaugural class of the NASCAR Hall of Fame in 2010. His son, Dale Earnhardt Jr., is a stock car driver and team owner of Hendricks Motor Sports. Jr. has won the Most Popular Driver Award nine times and has an estimated net worth of $300 million. He boasts 180 top ten finishes and 19 wins in the Sprint Cup Series, and an additional 79 top ten finishes and 23 wins in the Nationwide Series.
