Item Description
Five original 6" x 7" scenes from the 1982 classic The Strange Thing That Happened to Oliver Wendell Iscovitch by Helen Kronberg Olson, illustrated by Betsy Lewin. This series of illustrations show a baby discovering his toes, a boy balanced on one leg, the boy pushing the toe-obsessed baby in a stroller, a clutch of sneaky robbers and a trio of old women with fabulous hats and purses. Lewin's hysterical art for Doreen Cronin's Click Clack Moo: Cows That Type and Erica Silverman's Cowgirl Kate and Cocoa series have made the books she's illustrated into perpetual checkouts in our school library.
