Item Description

Honey Stones are fixed points in space and time that are made to fit in your pocket and your hand. They're bite sized pieces of the universe, little balls of magic frozen in place. The idea behind each Honey Stone is to inspire thought, to help organize the mind, and to relax the nerves. When you play with your Honey Stone, whether you bounce it in the pocket of your coat or spin iton your desk, you are pulled away from troubles and propelled towards a more relaxed state of mind. You can stare into the seemingly endless depths of the stone and never cease to find new waves or bubbles in the glass. No matter what you do, you'll find yourself becoming attached to your Honey Stone and the sense of calm attached to it.

Each Stone is unique, they are handmade by one cowboy in a small Connecticut workshop without the use of molds or other special shaping equipment. Fewer than thirty have been made, but the variety is still quite expansive. Some are perfectly egg-like, others are closer to beans, and there are infinite color combinations. They can look like rocks, balls of fire, or a piece of the ocean. Yours will be made just for you, but the size, shape, and colors will be random. Each stone is at least one inch in length.

Item Special Note

Kyle Haines is a metal and glass worker from Southington, Connecticut. Armed to the teeth with a wide range of hammers, torches, and antique junk-metal, Haines builds sculptures that tend to look as though they just walked out of a junk yard.
