Wood framed with plexiglas poster measuring 24x30, picturing the team and coaches of the Brooklyn Dodgers 1955 World Series Champions. The poster also includes Marianne Moore's famous poem, "Hometown piece for Messrs. Alston and Reese". The team photo includes Jackie Robinson, the first black player in the major leagues.
The team may have moved to Los Angeles and Ebbet Field is no more, but here's a great way to remember one of the greatesr teams to play in New York City!
