Children of all sizes are making big discoveries every day at The Discovery Museums. The two museums—the Science Discovery Museum and the Children’s Discovery Museum—are paired on a single 4.5-acre campus in Acton, MA, about 20 miles west of Boston.  One ticket gets you into both museums, so you and your children can enjoy a day of fun and discovery.

Children's Discovery Museum       

The Children's Discovery Museum offers three floors of hands-on, interactive exhibits for toddlers through elementary school-aged children. Little ones can wander from room to room in this converted historic Victorian-style house, where each room offers a different theme designed to arouse your child's natural curiosity about the world around him. With a surprise around every corner, there's just no room in this museum for boredom! 

At the Children's Discovery Museum you can:

* Set off a bell-clanging chain reaction by running balls down ramps * Explore a ship wreck * Surround yourself with bubble walls * Set, pull, and reset a lobster trap * Serve customers at the diner * Brave the wobbly bridge * Engineer your own train track * Be ticket collector, conductor and passenger on a train * Visit Bessie’s Cove * Go on a safari in the jungle room * Play on the lawn with Bessie, our giant dinosaur! * Much, much more!

Science Discovery Museum  

The Science Discovery Museum allows children of all ages to use their natural curiosity to explore the ordinary in extraordinary ways. Children use their senses and critical thinking skills to explore science, math and engineering concepts in an inviting, hands-on environment. Children learn that science starts with your hands, eyes and ears as they make discoveries about their world and get started on the path to scientific discovery. 

At the Science Discovery Museum you can:

* Certificate expires one year after date issued
* Certificate must be used on a single day only, during regular museum hours
* Certificate cannot be combined with any other certificate, gift cards, offers, or packages
* Certificate will not be replaced if lost or stolen
* Certificate has no cash value
* Certificate needs to be surrendered at the time of the visit
